About Coreie

Coreie Mosley is the fourth generation of funny women, but the only one to take it from the living room to the stage. After winning the crown of Ms. Juneteenth of Texas, the desire to pursue her dreams became too loud to ignore.
Years later, Coreie took courage after the Northridge earthquake and drove across country in her three-cylinder 1989 Geo Metro vehicle to the west coast. Upon arriving in Hollywood, California she challenges herself to do three minutes at the World-Famous Laugh Factory open mic and a comic was born. Coreie’s confidence grew when she sold a joke to the Keenan Ivory Wayans’ show.
Fortunately, she found favor with the undiscovered, Katt Williams to open and write for him. She was dedicated, driven, and developed hosting and improving skills. When she invested in a weekly acting class and six-week commercial workshop, she soon booked a few national commercial spots with the help from her partner, DDO Artists Agency.
Mosley worked with many comedians known today, but the cadre of familial was the late Dick Gregory. Their paths crossed when she was a weekly comedic caller on the Baltimore’s Radio Station, WBOL. Mr. Gregory was her inspiration and instilled thirst for knowledge of current, cultural and international events.
“Coreie Mosley is something else. Trust me, she is witty, she is clever, she’s funny, and working with her on Radio One I can also tell you she is a nice person,” said Dick in the Hollywood Reporter, June 7, 2000 issue.
Before the social media era boom, this gracious host created, produced, and filmed the hottest show, Comedy at the Crib with Coreie Mosley, in North Hollywood, California from her studio living room; seasoned and new comics entertained to a packed house.
Ms. Mosley’s company, Such A Productions created “A Cozy Night of Entertainment with Coreie Mosley” and an open mic “Put You on the Spot” back in her hometown, Houston, Texas.
This gifted writer, skilled actor, professional comedian, innovative producer, and incredible host relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana. After landing there in 2022, she enrolled in an acting class and was quickly cast as “Michelle,” in the hit comedy stage play, “The Neighborhood.” Focused on the untapped comedy scene in the Big Easy, she quickly located a venue and produced, “The Flow and Funny Show” it was a live variety show that featured local talent.
Now, this funny woman is focus on her brand, preparing for “The Born Funny Tour, and writing new content for prime television.
